Birthday Countdown

I went out for a treat tonight with my Mum to Browns restaurant in Brighton and we decided to do a blog post while we waited for my ice cream to arrive.

My Mum has this great iPhone app that shows the countdown to birthdays and also to when we are going away! It’s 19 days and 4 hours to my birthday and it’s 71 days until we fly to Rio! All the other dates like everyone else’s birthdays in the family are after we leave and much farther away! Lara really wishes her birthday was nearer!

I am learning about Quentin Blake at school – who is a famous illustrator and author. When we go away I hope we will find lots more Quentin Blakes books because I really like him.

I have started learning Spanish at a lunchtime club (guess what! On Monday’s I only get one play time) RA going to be useful in South America but I’m not really into it yet but my mum said I had to do it!

I hope my brother doesn’t fight me all the time when we go on our travels because it will get a bit annoying and the trip won’t become fun but we didn’t fight on our last holiday so that’s good!
