As dictated by Zoe…
We were sitting in a restaurant going to have dinner, supper, whatever you call it. Because it was so cold Mummy was going to run back to the house to get our jackets but when she had gone about 5 meters from the restaurant she fell over and got a giant cut in her knee.
Then Mummy got back and the waiter saw her and called me over and so we got a taxi without even having our food, went home, got our jackets and Daddy’s first aid kit in case they didn’t have the right needles and then went to the hospital and them mummy had seven stitches in her knee, three inside and four outside it was that bad. She got a big scrape on her arm. Dad saw Mummy’s bone in her knee because only one person was allowed so Dad went in. While me Ben and Lara were waiting outside for it to end, because we weren’t allowed to go inside, Ben went out and bought some chips from across the road and we didn’t have enough so we got some more but then we had a chicken drumstick too. And then we had some chocolate and one chewing gum each. And then Ben went off again and got a packet of sweets and we had three each.
Then Ben and Lara went to get some more chocolate. I waited on the corner and then I heard Mummy and Daddy coming and they said where are Ben and Lara? So we split up while Mummy went to get drugs for her leg and I took Daddy to try and find them – on the way we picked up our clean washing from the laundry and then when we walked back we saw Mummy, Ben and Lara together.
Then we went back to the restaurant and had our food again!

Wow, didn’t expect the first major accident to be Mo/Mummy! Hope you are all okay and managed to enjoy your dinner when you finally got it – although after chips, chicken drumsticks, chocolate, chewing gum and sweets not sure you would have fit anything else in! xx

Kate, it was unbelievable how much food they put away that night! I think the high drama must have built up their appetites! The girls then promptly fell asleep in the restaurant – the excitement was just too much!!

And guess who it was who said ‘see if you can run home and back in 20 minutes – I’ll set the timer on my phone’ ?!

It always helps to share the blame :), a good demonstration for BZL about personal responsibility that I have been trying to encourage.

Oooooh! Love, love, stroke, stroke.
Nasty flip flops!
Ha! Just like Martin to time you:-)
I’m only surprised he didn’t set up a science experiment based on the amount of blood you could loose over what duration.
Hope you’re feeling alright and all that walking is not making the wound too bad. Nasty place to get a cut that
Xx

thank you Chris – please don’t put ideas in his head tho:) Have been told off for walking by the medics – such a small place you can’t do anything without getting caught and have had to succumb to some proper rest!! Good news is its $1 for a taxi anywhere in town and there’s plenty of them – bit tricky jumping into a pick up with a straight leg mind! xx
