Zoe’s Memories – The Adventure in Cambodia and Thailand

In Zoe’s exact words (and Dad just typing).

We went on a fantastic elephant ride. We went in really nice swimming pools too. We went to lovely hotels they were so nice and it was boiling hot because the sun was so bright. We went to a lovely house and my Dad’s friend, Paul and he was married to a nice young woman called Pek. We went in a tuktuk about 5 or 6 times with them and we had lovely times with them and stayed with them for a few days. I had lovely days with them.

We went to a very old building that had fallen down and Ben, my brother with Mum and me and Lara and Dad. We split up for about 5 minutes then we got lost. Finally me, Daddy and Lara got to the end of the path, soon we caught sight of Mummy and Ben.

Well done Zoe! That was really difficult for your Dad to let you just write it in your own words but I am glad I did 🙂

Looking forward to reading your next post.

HI Erika. Paul Bonini here. I just discovered Martins blog, how absolutely wonderful. What an adventure for the whole family, he does not do things by halves that Martin 🙂

I saw your name on here & just wished to take the chance to say a very Happy Christmas to yourself & Larry. Life in Cambodia is simply perfect, is such a gentle life but age is catching up with me. I have started to use reading glasses & I did put on some weight. Being the vain sort I could not be over weight so stated going to the gym. My mission to shed a few kilos ended up with me now having given up all drinking & smoking & still going down the gym. I feel so much better being free of the booze & fags. Life is just wonderful.

My wife & I are simply very much in love & we spend pretty much all day every day together, been married six years now. I do a lot of walking as well but often like to lay in a hammock watching the rice fields whilst reading & then slowly drifting off into a lunch time nap. I hope life is kind.

      Do have a splendid Christmas.

      Paul
