iPad screens might be tough but when they break they really shatter, I should know! Mine was actually in a case at the time, just not the right one so I started searching for the toughest case money can buy in case we take an iPad on our gap year. This one looks like a good bet:
Not sure I will be very keen to do my own tests though!
