Day 6 in Rio and our last night in our apartment and my first blog post in Brazil. When I was on the plane I took a few pictures like this one when we were just on the equator. I went to the Jardim Botanico (botanical gardens). The trees were planted 200 years ago by the future King of Portugal. How tall are these trees?

I don’t feel very well at the moment but I am getting better. I hope my cold goes soon. Missing everyone lots and wished I was in Brighton today to see the Olympic torch.
