If you go on holiday and spend £1000 on your credit card any idea how much you pay in fees? I hadn’t a clue, hardly top of my list of priorities if you are going away for a few days. So off to Google and Martin Lewis’ Money Saving Expert who do a nice comparison. Ouch… More

Life is not a Dress Rehearsal

A friend died yesterday of cancer. He was in his forties and leaves a young family behind. I cannot begin to imagine what they have been through and our thoughts are with them.

Whilst we feel so very sad we should celebrate his life and what he gave to others.

Don’t poke yourself in the eye

Mo has just left to go to a photography course with my camera and I am doing what any stereotypical man will do when faced with someone knowing more about a gadget than they do. After over a year and thousands of photos I am actually reading the manual!

I am glad I did. Apparently in California you are advised to More
